“A source that cannot be verified or remain consistent is useless.”

Shout this sentence from on high.
So Google AI is no longer telling us Mary Shelley and Jane Austen were sisters. That doesn't mean it's now 'right' or 'better'. It's just different, and there's no way to know why. New stolen material uploaded? Manual intervention? A source that cannot be verified or remain consistent is useless.

It’s weird how folks assume when something really bad happens in a red state it must of happened to someone that is rightwing. Not to state the obvious, but many of the most rabid rightwing supporters in red states are wealthy and not affected by the inadequacies of the government.

lost count of how many striking workers I chatted with today, but some of the things they said are still weighing so heavily on me.

“I can’t afford diapers for my baby.”

“We pick up bags filled with human shit. And sometimes they break.”

“I’m so tired.”

“They treat us like trash. We’re human.”

Hot take: Young men “playing video games all day” deserve access to health insurance too. In a humane society everyone should have access to health care regardless of who they are or what they do. We should be expanding health insurance coverage, not kicking people off it.

Burnett: Do you like capitalism?

Mamdani: No, I have many critiques of capitalism.

Yes! For too long it has been taboo to discuss legitimate critiques of capitalism in mainstream US media. This has shut down any chance of implementing real solutions to social crises. A new day is coming.
