This is true, and this is why I think there is room for *liberal criticism* within a patriarchical frame, as in: these men are not men. They're boys who are afraid to act like men. We cannot have public policy that enables their extended childhoods.
I have never seen any example of the left "hating" young men that doesn't distill to "refusal to coddle them/insistence on treating them like adults with agency."
