All I think about when I hear people say that it’s bad taste to dance on Hulk Hogan’s grave is that Emmett Till’s monument had to be replaced with a 500lb steel bulletproof monument because white people simply won’t stop riddling it with bullets. So now it just has tons of dents. From bullets.

Honestly this is the whole thing. While there are some professional bigots who will never change, I truly think a ton of everyday people who have been brainwashed by the hate campaign against trans folks would stop after meeting and learning from real trans folks. That's why they wanna silence us.

THIS FUCKING RIGHT HERE!!! The trend of writing "good guys" as bootlicking milquetoast hall monitors & equating "unquestioning rule following" instead of "seeks justice, mitigates harm & values kindness" with "good" has been a festering disease in storytelling.
If you want to write heroes in the year 2025, you have to decide what they stand for, and then stand for it. The mealy-mouthed, offend-no-one approach no longer works. People respond to the Walter Whites bc you can put truth in their mouths. So put truth in the mouths of the good guys.
