Anyone else receiveng chat requests from obviously fake accounts demanding that I verify my account using some sketchy link?
The actual bluesky support team isn't responding to my reports but at least the accounts seem to disappear and I'm not banned so I guess my conclusion is correct.

The US has made more explosive nuclear tests than all other countries combined, and has the best data available. Ending the moratorium would only give China and Russia a chance to catch up.
The U.S. is far ahead of its nuclear adversaries in research and data about nuclear warheads, and experts believe explosive testing is not only strategically unnecessary, but, as several put it, “insane.”

“SMO" now is just 2 months shorter than the "Great Patriotic war" 1941-1945 against Germany. At the same time Soviets were almost in Berlin. Russia is around Pokrovsk, town 41km from Donetsk from where they started invasion almost 4 years ago. Thats the perspective.

In the long term I'd argue it might be better for Europeans to suddenly realise and adapt to a new reality where Americans can no longer relied on rather than arrive at the same place after false hopes through a painfully drawn out process
We could have been providing military aid to Ukraine. We could have been building our partnerships in the Pacific. We could have strengthened Europe’s defense industrial base. We could have helped build state capacity in South America.
What a fucking disaster this has all been.
