Wonderful northern lights display tonight! Could see the folded curtain effect as well as the colors and constant motion.
Funny, it’s actually harder (at least for me) to photograph them when they fill the sky than when they’re just on the horizon.

Saw this animal & wondered what it was! Clearly a chipmunk, but not the Eastern Chipmunk I’m used to. It’s smaller & has very closely spaced stripes on its head & back. Turns out it’s a Least Chipmunk. A species I didn’t know existed, let alone that it’s found in NE Minn.
