The problem was never the Harris campaign or her strategy. For 25+ yrs our information space has been steadily co-opted by greedy fascist oligarchs who use lies to sell fear, hatred & division for profit. Limbaugh, Smith, Murdoch, Musk etc. There's NO left-wing analog because facts are boring. 1/2

Congress wrote into the law that someone who overstays a visa while applying for asylum is not considered to be accruing “unlawful presence,” but it didn’t explicitly say those people couldn’t be arrested and detained — because it was presumed that they wouldn’t be. Well, Trump is doing it.
We came to LA as refugees from the USSR in 1991. Life wasn’t easy, but we persevered and, I dare say, came to contribute something of worth to this nation.

Had I experienced the following when I was a boy, I don’t know what would have become of me.

There are going to be prominent Democrats and mainstream media voices who insist that we have to "turn the page" and "forgive and forget" and they should all be roundly ignored, if not mercilessly mocked.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

"Anyone who opposes, criticizes or asks hard questions of me is a traitor and should be executed" is the wish of a dictator.

Trump is profoundly weak and insecure. More and more Americans are rejecting his lies. His polling is horrible and trending lower.

Now that he's cornered, expect worse.
