Politics is an even worse spectacle when they all start going off about a subject you actually know something about. Makes you wonder how clueless they must be about all the other stuff they pontificate about.
Iain Duncan Smith says when Maccabi played a game in Istanbul there was no trouble at all

@ianbyrnemp.bsky.social had to point out UEFA moved the game to Hungary after the Turkish authorities refused to stage it &the Hungarian authorities then played it behind closed doors. Hence no trouble

20 years ago I watched Liverpool win one of the most incredible games of football and lift the European Cup completely alone. Today, I get to watch them lift the league in person for the first time in front of fans after 35 years.

I still can’t believe I’m gonna be there

Overnight, state troopers and ICE made 150 stops on roads like Harding Place and Nolensville Road in predominately-Latino neighborhoods of South Nashville.

Then two buses left a Nashville ICE office with an unknown number of detainees today, presumably headed for Louisiana.

Here’s what we know:
NEW from the Banner: The Tennessee Highway Patrol and ICE ran a massive traffic stop operation in South Nashville, detaining dozens of people. Buses left the ICE facility with many, reportedly bound for Louisiana.
