🚨 BREAKING: Jackson County Board of Elections votes 3-2 to close the Western Carolina University early voting site despite it being one of the most active polling locations in the county. This is active voter suppression and we will not stand for it.

POLITICO: You pardoned the former president of Honduras even though he was convicted in a massive intl drug trafficking scheme. How is that 0 tolerance on drug trafficking?

TRUMP: Well I don't know him and I know very little about him other than people said it was like an Obama-Biden type set up

Imagine being so far gone into Trumpism/Republicanism that you would say this to someone who was shot in the head in an act of political violence.
MAGA legal world, man…

Gorsuch and Grassley should be so proud.

Stephen Miller’s ancestors were Jewish refugees from the pogroms in czarist Russia. They came to the U.S. in the early twentieth century, even as racists said this same stuff about them.
Stephen Miller is now arguing that assimilation is fundamentally impossible and that certain cultures are not compatible with Western civilization

Q: Officials say the suspect in the DC shooting was vetted & it came up clean

TRUMP: He went cuckoo. He went nuts. There was no vetting

Q: Actually, your DOJ IG says there was thorough vetting of Afghans. So why blame Biden?

TRUMP: You're just asking questions because you're a stupid person

North Carolina this could have been us but y’all elected a Governor who pushed an anti-trans bathroom bill that ran the film and TV industry down to Georgia.
As we visit Hawkins, Indiana, one last time in the final season of Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” fans flock to the town of Jackson, Georgia, the “real” Hawkins, whose tourism helped bring it back from the upside down.
How 'Stranger Things' turned a small Southern town's fortunes upside down
The real Hawkins, Indiana, is in Georgia. Everyone there is excited about the Netflix show’s final season — and what its legacy could mean for them.

MAJOR: The Trump Administration has been caught lying about the D.C. shooting suspect.

The truth: He was vetted by Trump. He had a CIA badge, worked with the CIA in Afghanistan, and granted asylum by Trump in April.

Before the midterms of 1866, President Andrew Johnson called his congressional opponents traitors and said they should be hanged.

Voters were so profoundly moved by his words... that they gave his opponents a supermajority in Congress, and the nation got the Fourteenth Amendment.

"Things happen" sometimes, like when you walk into an embassy to apply for your marriage license while your bride-to-be waits outside, but then you get bonesawed to pieces for having exercised freedom of speech as an US-based journalist and have to be carried out in a series of suitcases.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Why is this man so concerned with decorating details? Who the f**k cares?!?
Trump: Take a look at this if you want to see detail. Most people do a sign and paint it on the wall. So that's half inch thick bronze. Carved. By a very talented person. And it's brass. It's pure brass.

People shouldn’t have to be entrepreneurs to have health insurance.
Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

Are people expecting some sort of Mr Smith goes to Washington moment where the Republicans finally find the error of their ways and do things Democrats want in any circumstance ?
I’m just confused as to what the grand plan is when we put the GOP back in control of everything last year.
“Guaranteeing a vote” that you will lose is yet again reliance on the “You’re gonna look so bad dude” shit that has worked exactly zero times. Sorry for the posts about the same thing I feel like I am going insane

I've looked at all the details of this deal to end the shutdown reached by a small group of Senate Democrats. I've talked to a number of friends on the Hill to see if there's anything I'm missing. Sadly, I am not.

This is a shit deal. It's a betrayal. It's cowardice.

Yes. Each day that Mr Johnson refuses to allow an entire district to be represented in AZ, he can enjoy his $79. daily tax payer subsidized meals, while taking food from hungry children, & denying an entire AZ district their representation. All this in the name of “member representation allotment”.

Maybe the Trump Administration could find the money on the “tariff shelf”.
The Trump administration tells the Supreme Court it can’t be compelled to fully fund SNAP because paying out the money would “irreparably harm” the government, while SNAP beneficiaries … *won’t* be irreparably harmed by going hungry? The balance of equities here is completely upside down.
