The Bill Clinton level stuff Democrats would end up reflexively defending
not saying it’s a wrong desire, but the index fingers curling on quite a lot of monkey paws from people wanting a fuck-you-take-no-prisoners attitude in a potential frontrunner

Stop. Trying. To. Make. Smart. Fridges. Happen.

I was writing/commissioning/editing pieces about smart fridges at the 2016 CES and even before that. Nobody wants smart fridges that need their firmware updating, stop getting security patches after two years and do voice recognition.
Samsung’s fridges now recognize family members by voice

It’s a perfectly acceptable airport with a Westfield attached to it.
I've been through Changi loads of times over the past few decades and ... it's fine? It's huge, it's got loads of identikit designer shops, it's efficient, you walk miles along air-conditioned corridors. Some nice touches with greenery. Er, that's it. Never really understood the fawning over it.

A while ago a lovely German man appeared at our church. He came a few times to look around during our Saturday opening hours, before asking if the piano abandoned in the corner worked.

I told him it was horrendously out of tune, and the cathedral piano tuner had deemed it not worth sorting out.

This is something you'd say if you were a vampire who slipped up in an interview. There should now be a slow zoom into a sepia-tinted photograph of a banquet table at an early Oscars with Janet Gaynor, Marie Dressler, Gloria Swanson...and a 4th woman, elegant, blonde...could it be...yes...it's HER.
