ALSO ME: I wonder if there is a way that I could relax that would be more productive

Tell me a horror story in one skeet
I'm an extrovert to my core because it doesn't matter how bad things are, I'm always happy as long as I have a visitor. That's all I need.

My dad has dementia, and every time something changes about his condition we wait months for someone to see him. He has all the resources anyone would want and great insurance. There are great doctors and nurses, but the system they work in is broken everywhere we interact with it.
People who are like “I don’t mind our current clusterfuck of a health care system because people with socialized medicine have to wait six months for an appt” have obviously never had to see a specialist for anything ever

Gentle reminder for those of you who live with other human beings. These are apex predators and destroy the environment around them so it’s best to keep them indoors.

Some new hobbies I am thinking about getting into:

• witnessing the beloved in the monstrous
• witnessing the monstrous in the divine
• traversing the boundaries of space, time, & corporeality
• communing with the shadow
• apotheosis
• French pastry??

There is an overwhelming body of evidence that the industry of football - governing bodies, clubs, prominent individuals - is desperate to be seen as progressive & all-inclusive while simultaneously courting regimes that actively suppress the rights of the very same minorities they claim to support.

1. In April 2024, California raised the minimum wage for fast food chains to $20/hour

The industry claimed it would be devastating & require significant job cuts and prices increases

Here is what really happened: workers got a raise, prices went modestly, and the industry continued to add jobs
What really happened after California raised its minimum wage to $20 for fast food workers
What would happen to the fast food industry if it had to pay its workers something closer to a living wage?

@drrebeccaryan.bsky.social I was so intrigued by your connection between MCAS and endometriosis! Question: how would you treat someone with endo and suspected MCAS? Standard MCAS treatment or would LDN be your first line of treatment?

Hey, #NEISvoid and researchy folks.

What is that study I'm thinking of in which 30-some-odd patients with a 'psychosomatic' diagnosis were followed over time and eventually each received some other somatic diagnosis, many of them cancer or neurological disease? Ethan somebody was the author maybe?

Did you know? The feast of Christ the King was added to liturgical calendars as a response to the rise in fascism in 1925. Pope Pius XI was frustrated over the popularity of the Mussolini movement
