lmfaooo what these articles sound like. Ppl who finished college before modern social media even took off, ppl who been publicly writing words before gen ai was a thing, ppl who are OLDER than Altman, Zuckerberg et. al. don’t know how to write words? All of us? Oh ok. I guess air in the datasets.
Stop using words! LLMs frequently use words, so you could risk being mistaken for an LLM!

‘“Good Vibrations”, released a few months after 𝘗𝘦𝘵 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴, may still be the best pop song ever made, a song so intricate and multi-faceted it’s almost impossible to keep up with it while listening.’

Part of adulthood is learning to discern when your feelings & opinions simply don't matter. You can have them, but you can't use them as bludgeons to control what other people do. Your emotions are your responsibility & so is figuring out when they're out of proportion & how to manage that.

We need to build some real social stigma around being afraid of cities. You don't have to like them or live there, but a politics built this strongly around watching TV and going "ewww" is embarrassing, and people should be embarrassed by it. It's like "fear of werewolves" being your top issue.

I understand why people are scared but as a red state trans person I just have to laugh at people asking if it is safe for them to have a connecting flight in my state. I feel like after security everyone in the airport is actively dissociating at all times

Allow me to address the elephant in the room: The decades-long outsourcing of domestic manufacturing to China was not an insidious Chinese conspiracy for dominance but the greedy strategy of the American ruling class to explode its profit margins by exploiting global inequality.

Reading 9/16 Realm of the Elderlings books in ~5 wks has made me lose my marbles in the best way. Not sure I'd necessarily RECOMMEND this pace but jfc the emotional payoff of the 3rd trilogy is wild. It's been the kind of reading experience I used to have as a kid, plowing rabidly through books
