I'm now old enough to vote for the kids of people I practiced yoga regularly with, which is pretty rad. LFG @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social and remember: if we're unhappy we are telling your mom.

I went to a NY times interview with Carrie Brownstein and she said "The pac nw is beautiful. But it's terrible, don't go there" as a joke to keep people from flocking to it and I feel like maybe this is all elaborately part of that bit.
Trump: "I don't know what could be worse than Portland. You don't even have stores anymore. They don't even put glass up. They put plywood on their windows."

But is there a Turkish Airlines flight from newark or Teterboro to South Florida for Adams?
There are plenty of flights from Cuomo’s local Westchester County Airport to South Florida.
Don’t threaten me with a good time.

It was really enjoyable to not only be able to vote for candidates I actually believe in and like (yay @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social & @bradlander.bsky.social!) but to ALSO get the opportunity to not rank Andrew Cuomo.
June 21, 2025 at 7:12 PM
@bradlander.bsky.social and @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social are the only clear choices, other than don't rank Cuomo. I appreciate their clear love and support of NYC and all it's residents.
Just days ago, Brad Lander called me to interpret for an Arabic-speaking asylee whose case was approved, yet ICE was still harassing him inside the building. Brad personally escorted him out to safety. He does this kind of work quietly, every day.
Lander just got detained by federal agents as he tried to escort a man out of the courtroom. Lander was taken in an elevator with masked agents, along with one member of his NYPD security detail.

2001ish, was walking down 6th Ave and 17th st listening to my Creative nomad jukebox mp3 player and staring at the sidewalk when I looked up because someone was in front of me and found myself sidewalk dancing with James Gandolfini, peak Sopranos era.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

I don't love everything the company I work for does, and I'm fortunate enough to feel secure and comfortable challenging decisions when I disagree with them.

This, however, I love. Same day on PBS and PBS app, helping this show continue to educate & entertain kids. Kudos when due and they're due.
