Israel has burned northern Gaza’s last remaining hospital. And kicked out its patients, including neonatal and ICU patients. I picked a western news source since y’all seem more likely to believe those. I don’t know how else to get people to care.

the difference is about 10,000 units. it's a lot.

and it's a meaningful step that more parts of the city should be taking.
but it will likely increase housing in the area by just a little bit more than is already being built.
there are other dynamics that seem to prefer non-housing developments.

I analyzed how much the zoning capacity would change after the Broadway upzoning. It'd be bigger than the Western Ave proactive upzoning, in large because the proposal is for rezoning to a higher-density zoning district.

Weird how most of the media coverage on "inflation" didn't point out soaring profit. It was always about increased prices but rarely pointing out the companies were enriching themselves to an even greater extent than ever before.
Corporate profits hit an all-time high last year and continued to rise in 2024.

Just so happens that in 75% of US industries, fewer companies control more of the business than 20 years ago.

Minimal competition means maximized price-gouging.
