Of course patients should be seen in 90 minutes in the ER and 95% of cancer surgeries should completed by 56 days but, rather increasing resources, it’s doctors who are financially penalized for the lack of resources and fined $500k if they object:

Has the CP Style Guide been updated to indicate that Covid must be mentioned in the past tense, or not at all?
What’s the point of getting a flu shot this year? Here’s what the science says | CBC News
Some scientists say this year's flu shot isn't well matched to a key strain that could spread widely in the months ahead. So, is there still a point in getting it? Medical experts say: absolutely. Her...

I read this as “stop treating NHS RESPIRATORS as a problem to be eliminated” and, you know, it still works
Here's my plea to the government, media and everyone else to stop treating NHS administrators as a problem to be eliminated, rather than the glue which holds the whole organisation together.

This person was infected with COVID twice and recovered. A 3rd infection brought manageable long COVID symptoms, but they were still able to work. After a 4th infection a few months ago, they haven’t recovered at all — showing how repeated infections can cause severe, lasting damage.

What a sweet, lovely, compassionate, and lethal idea.

I sincerely hope that they plan to scrub the air constantly to at least reduce the risk somewhat.
My local nursing home just added a daycare inside. I love that they were thinking about the benefits of intergenerational spaces, but this feels like a 2019 goal. Putting two different vulnerable populations together without a single attempt to clean the air, feels like a disaster

Trump’s current defense against the Epstein email is…unique. “It’s a fake allegation [that he spent hours alone with a victim], but I know exactly who it’s referring to, and she already said it wasn’t me and oops she can’t confirm this story” may not be the slam dunk he’s hoping for.

Fun facts for all the racists blaming immigration (primarily from India) on Canada's measles woes:

-measles vaccination rate in India: 97% (2024)
-rate in Canada: 82.5% (2023)

So if you want to play this game (and I don't), more Indian immigrants would make us LESS vulnerable to measles.

@bsky.app last week my DMs were cut off. Moderation said I could not be trusted.

Hours later, you said it was a mistake.

Then you cut off them off again—but said it was my fault, tho wouldn't explain (before turning them back on.)

Maybe @sarahkendzior.bsky.social's ban is a mistake, too?
