It’s been 60 years that National Guard troops have been deployed without the request of a Governor or local agencies. This will not keep people safe.

It disturbs me that I live in a world where I did this between the election and Trump taking the reins, and now this is being suggested more broadly.
Everyone who has paid into Social Security:

1. Create a Login.Gov account.

2. Go to the Social Security page and log in.

3. Do screen caps of your Earnings Record.

4. Because it may not be there tomorrow, thanks to Elon.

Cuomo is functionally a Republican. Do not rank him at all on your ballot, friends.
NYC voters must also not forget how Cuomo worked tirelessly as governor to betray the legislative agenda of his fellow Democrats by helping Republicans maintain a NY State Senate majority from 2011 to 2018 through the IDC.

Star Trek has always been political. Roddenberry designed ST to use allegory to tell stories that might not otherwise be allowed on network TV. From the beginning, he strove to show a bolder, better, more inclusive future, which I believe is at the core of its enduring appeal.

Thank you, President Trump! Our long national nightmare of accurate weather forecasts is coming to an end!

“There’s no question it will lead to errors. It’s just a matter of how bad will it be... We know these things help with forecasts, so why are we cutting them?”

With fewer weather balloons due to government staffing cuts, forecasts may be less accurate
At least 10 sites have suspended or limited weather balloon launches, which used to occur twice daily, because of the Trump administration’s cuts to the National Weather Service.

The Fed says inflation will hit 2.8% in 2025

Which is up from a prediction of 2.5%

Which was ALREADY up from 2.3%

Plus GDP will decrease from 2.1% to 1.7% (under Biden it was 2.8%)

And Trump’s tariffs are expected to make things WORSE

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.
