First appearance of the Luker Amendment at tonight’s planning board meeting! Our historical commission can apply a 21-month demo delay, but if the project will produce multi-family housing it’s reduced to 12 months.

Happening this Sunday, 8/24! First Sunday MBTA bus service in Lexington EVER. I'll be on the first run around 6am with a bunch of other local bus nerds.

My janky, hand-me-down grill is too big and dirty to try fitting in the car so I’m wheeling it through the neighborhood to the temp rental house. The closer I get to the end the steeper it gets.

IMO simplest answer is that many people who advocate for IZ are either not thinking in an evidence based way or not motivated by Barbara's noble goals. That is backed up by evidence in Boston & many other places. Attitude towards IZ should be guided not by theory but by what happens on the ground.
