Buttigieg on Indiana: "The big part of how Trumpism works is to make you feel totally disempowered. To make him feel inevitable. And yet the clear takeaway from this is he is not unstoppable and you are not without power."

Mike Johnson makes a lot more sense when you realize that the primary goal of his speakership is the personal survival of Mike Johnson
RAJU: If defenseless survivors were killed, would that constitute a violation of the laws of war?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not going to prejudge any of that. I was pretty busy yesterday. I didn't follow a lot of the news.

In an undercover op last year, the FBI recorded Tom Homan, the now White House border czar, accepting $50,000 after indicating he could help agents, posing as business executives, win contracts in a second Trump administration.

Trump shut down the investigation. www.msnbc.com/msnbc/news/t...
Tom Homan was investigated for accepting $50,000 from undercover FBI agents. Trump's DOJ shut it down.
The FBI and Justice officials closed the investigation, which a Justice Department appointee had called a “deep state” probe in early 2025.

American tech firms to a large degree designed and built China’s digital predictive policing apparatus, allowing the preemptive detention of hundreds of thousands of people for crimes they have not even committed.
US tech companies enabled the surveillance and detention of hundreds of thousands in China
U.S. technology firms such as IBM, Dell and Cisco largely designed and built China’s surveillance state, an AP investigation finds. The tech companies deny wrongdoing.

Amongst the weird things trump and his cronies have said and done vis-à-vis Epstein recently is the curious denial of trump writing and signing a lewd birthday letter to Epstein 20 years ago.

But that denial suffered a significant blow this week !

The Trump administration is now seeking to replace PBS with “Prager University,” a far-right propaganda organization that isn’t actually a university.

One of their “kids videos” has Christopher Columbus telling them that slavery was “no big deal” and “better than being killed.”

And social media accelerated this because for high status people it is often the experience of people telling you that you are wrong.

If you, regular person, did anything like this after a fatal car accident, you would be prosecuted for a variety of crimes, including insurance fraud.

If you then repeatedly lied to the courts about it, like Tesla did, you'd get prosecuted for that too, plus stiff monetary sanctions.
“.. Within about three minutes of the crash, the Model S uploaded a “collision snapshot”—video, CAN‑bus streams, EDR data, etc.—to Tesla’s servers .. The vehicle then deleted its local copy, resulting in Tesla being the only entity having access.”

The White House has ordered the US Dept. of Justice to prioritize denaturalization: voiding the citizenship of US citizens.

Who will it denaturalize? "Any" case that it "determines to be sufficiently important".

Point 10 leaves the criteria opaque and arbitrary.
