the current "discussion" about Watson's translation of the Odyssey is truly hilarious. Sadly, also reminds me of what an interesting place it used to be.

It gave me crippling anxiety, a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms, some really nasty nightmares, the ability to drink enough caffeine to kill a horse, and made me into a cynic who cusses way more than necessary.
