Cities use concrete and metal to protect infrastructure from cars, but cyclists, scooters and others just get plastic and paint.
Good morning to everyone who wonders why they didn't just use paint and plastic flex posts to protect this fire hydrant.

N Washington bridge is 99% finished! So gorgeous! Bike lanes are open in both directions, but when is MassDOT going to clear out the construction materials on the inbound bike lane???

Heat training was in order today. Blue Hill summit was in dog. I planned to do Ubiquity Rd - summit - Canton Ave loop 2x, but I already was sweating like a pig at the summit for first time so I just went home, grabbed a bag of clothes and rode to work directly.

Showers at work are so underrated!

That might explain the storefronts I saw yesterday in Dorchester that had both Kraft and Wu signs in their windows adjacent to one another.
Apparently the Kraft campaign has been going around offering to pay store owners a monthly fee to put Kraft signs in their windows. I heard the fee ranges from $50-$500 per month. So if you’re wondering why your bodega or dry cleaner had a Kraft sign that might be it. Boston is not for sale!
