Me reading the reviews for the Ryan Murphy/Kim Kardashian show:
When I was a kid I wrote a sketch comedy series called The Dick Cheney Show where Dick Cheney is forced to host a kids' TV show with "Sideshow Bush." In the first episode, Richard Simmons puts him on a diet and he has a heart attack running up the Rocky steps. I have no regrets.

I never met Dick Cheney but if I had I would have unleashed my inner Chris Farley and been like "remember the time you shot a guy in the face? That was awesome."

This thread from Mark Harris about journalism is 100% accurate. Too many prominent publications castigate all criticism from the left as whining when they’d do better to listen to them and not create animosity among the people most likely to consume their product.
Thread: I want to talk about journalism for a sec. In any enterprise, there's always a tension between covering what your readers care about and covering what you want them to care about. To do only the first is to pander; to do only the second...well, you'd better know your readers VERY well. >

If the court rules quickly enough in a key voting rights case, it could allow yet another round of partisan redistricting before the 2026 midterms.
