if I were a club making a decision to hire/retain/fire a manager, a recurring belief that basic load management was, effectively, utter woke nonsense, would be a *massive* red flag
probably most importantly from a football perspective, this is just a straightforward confirmation that Enzo disregarded the medical team's advice on player fitness and load management

which, like, yeah that's a big problem!

an underrated dynamic is that after years of cronyism and the related (and unrelated) ineptitude of the Adams administration, there is a lot for the Mamdani administration to accomplish through basic competence
this is obviously correct, but it also speaks to the focus on competence that Mamdani would choose a DOT commissioner who is not like a free buses true believer

“tap to pay is unfair for poor people because they can’t remember their phone password” is one of those magical bits of discourse where OP is trying to defend poor people… but actually is just infantilizing them in a way that is far more offensive than the thing they’re criticizing

The story of the Fed race is that Scott Bessent goes on the All-In pod and gives a detailed policy prescription for the Fed, citing academic research and economic history.

And then Trump will just up and post: "I want my new Fed Chairman to lower Interest Rates if the Market is doing well"

stay woke, read the British financial newspaper owned by a Japanese stock market index and media conglomerate
Even 5 years ago if you had told me CBS News would go this way whereas the WSJ wouldn’t it would have surprised me — ultimately I think purveyors of business news are the only ones insulated from these dynamics because when rich people are paying you for market-moving news you can’t mess around.
