I personally enjoyed the focus on Gwen in the Black Phone 2, which used her dream sequences to establish an atmosphere that carried the film. I would love to see more from Gwen and Finney, even without the Grabber.

I looked up to CM Punk. I thought his gimmick was a general reflection of who he was as a person. Taking that Saudi blood money and falling in line were not just immensely disappointing, but call into question every act of support he’s given to marginalized groups like the trans community.
I have largely abandoned writing about and reading about professional wrestling, but I read this, and it is excellent.

Cancel culture isn't new; we've always had it. We literally write essays about it in high school for the Scarlet fucking Letter. What changed recently is who we cancel - we no longer cancel you for for being queer, using drugs, divorcing & remarrying, but for being abusive, hateful, or a sex pest.

I came out to my wife last week as a trans woman. Years of suppressed feelings just came spilling out. The feeling was euphoric. Now I’m both excited for what that means for my future and dreading the eventual reveal to my more traditional parents.
