In other news: baked a cake with my new-to-me stand mixer! Yossy Arefi’s vanilla cake with cookie butter frosting, via NYT Cooking. It’s the best cake I’ve made so far, and omg having a stand mixer makes all the difference w/ frosting.

After some light Karening (messaging my dr directly in mychart), I miraculously was able to get a time in Sept. Funny how that works.
Love to be reminded it’s time to schedule an appointment for September w my endo, then call only to find he is booked out 6 mos. The scheduler pushed telehealth, but I need a neck check. KU, hire more endocrinologists, and do whatever you need to keep them on the payroll, pls.
