Well the easy answer to dealing with his demise would be to do a series of “Young James Bond” prequels showing his early years in the secret service. Recruitment, training, missions during the Cold War etc

People can check their titres with their doctor to see if they have enough immunity (thru a blood test and the dr has to order it). The vaccine wasn’t widely available in the 1960s as far as I know so most of us in that age who have immunity actually got measles.
