Ah yes, stupid ass programs like *checks notes* food for starving people, medicine for sick people, and severe weather alert infrastructure. I guess I can forgive home though — poverty, illness, and climate disaster doesn’t really impact him in his home state of *checks notes* California.
Here’s Aaron Rodgers saying Elon Musk used DOGE to get rid of “stupid ass programs” and wonders why Trump hasn’t imprisoned more government officials.

Good luck to the Steelers!

NEW: Judge Chutkan has blocked the EPA from terminating grants for climate programs held by Citibank, saying the Trump administration failed to abide by legal procedures and provided no evidence of impropriety.

1. The DOGE website is garbage.

The claimed savings has no relationship to the data provided.

And the data that is provided grossly inflates the savings from each canceled contract.

So we just launched our own site — the Musk Watch DOGE Tracker — that breaks everything down.
Introducing: The Musk Watch DOGE Tracker
New tool reveals Musk has overstated verified DOGE savings by at least 92%

Pretty remarkable that the Fed’s General Counsel made these comments in the absence of a Vice Chair for Supervision, during a pause in rulemaking, and while the Board is still (ostensibly) majority Democrat.

I know this is going to sound naive or earnest, but I genuinely find myself shocked by how little people seem to be upset by the levels of corruption we're seeing. Is that the median voter assumes everyone is corrupt already? Or isn't actually getting stories about the corruption?

It remains INSANE to me that Musk is not the subject of shareholder litigation for how he is cratering a company he ostensibly runs while in reality running DOGE
From $488 to $241 in three months. Tesla shares now officially cut in half.

Far be it from me to defend the CapOne-Discover merger, but this reads like a shakedown of a company with a merger pending before this administration.

Also, banks aren't obligated to do business with entities that have attempted to overturn a free and fair election.

Not surprising, but this'll bring a lot more risk into the banking system which is backed by the public.

CapOne has a pending merger application before the banking agencies to acquire Discover and further consolidate the credit card/payments market.

Dropping this enforcement action for cheating consumers out of interest payments eliminates a potential obstacle to that deal.
(Reuters) - The U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on Thursday dropped a legal action against Capital One, which the agency had accused last month of cheating consumers out of more than $2 billion in interest payments on savings accounts.
