this entirely misses the point. MAHA grifters are rarely the people who get sick and die from their lies and wellness scams. it’s vulnerable people who suffer the most — especially children
This thing has to play itself out. It's called "natural selection." They are going to be who they ALWAYS have been and ALWAYS will be.

Napoleon’s assault and retreat is immortalized in the greatest data visualization of all time (h/t Edward Tufte). Minard’s map shows the march on Moscow in brown, and the retreat in black. The width of these lines is the size of the army. They were already decimated before they reached Moscow.

Not just CDC; also FDA, dept of Ag, and other scientists that work on infectious diseases in humans and animals.

You know who doesn’t skip the European Infectious Disease Meeting (ESCMID)? The European CDC. 🤷🏻‍♂️

A reason why that meeting got big studies, big speakers, big attendance.

Staph aureus bacteremia debates!

Ceftobiprole as adjunctive therapy in persistent Staph aureus bacteremia (Dr. Turner, Duke):

Theory:
1) In vitro synergistic with dapto
2) 99% susceptible in vitro, but only 94% of ceftaroline
3) Ceftobiprole -very good against MDR MRSA

This is the official communication from the FDA to physicians on acetaminophen use in pregnancy.
- They acknowledge the lack of a causal link with autism
- Essentially tell physicians to keep doing what we've been doing anyway
It's very different from the press conference.
Pass it on.
