I worry about the immigrants prior access to healthcare - MMR is 97% effective if you’ve had two doses. Updating people’s vaccines is one of the first things you should do if they are going to be held in close quarters, but doubt that is happening.
I wonder if staff are required to have MMR vaccines. Of course vaccines are great, but not perfect. So many people are at risk.

UW’s Dr Heidi Crane is lead author on this look at gender disparities among statin adherence and discontinuation in PWH… women less likely to continue statins in this group of privately insured PWH.

Gender Differences in Statin Discontinuation and Adherence Among Privately Insured People with HIV in the USA - PubMed
PWH had high statin discontinuation rates, and a quarter had low adherence. Compared to men, women were both more likely to discontinue and have lower adherence. Efforts are needed to address statin adherence barriers to prevent CVD in PWH, especially in women with HIV.

Interesting study on influenza vax response with annual vax.

Initial attenuation (even accounting for ceiling effect) compared to lower prior vax uptake, but Ab similar to at 6 months.

Curious b/c isn’t it the early bump we rely on for seasonal virus?

Until recently, getting a cervical screening required a provider visit. You may be able to collect your own sample for HPV testing in a private setting, like home. Self-collection offers more flexibility and can help catch cancer early, when treatment's most effective. medium.com/wadepthealth...
