Every single unmarked grave on the grounds of residential schools is a secret that Canada hid for decades. A deliberately kept secret of colonial crimes against humanity. Indigenous people. Many of us are alive who remember these days and the history is not a far off written one. It lives on in us.

Food, water, shelter, and electricity. I believe all are fundamental human rights. So long as you're a human being -- even if you're a shitty one -- there should never be a second where you are without access to any of this. Humanity will never progress until we reach that point.

It's insane how congestion pricing in NYC has been just about *the* most unambiguously successful new policy implemented in my lifetime and still all the dumbest people in government want to get rid of it
Some stats from 100 days in on congestion pricing:
- Complaints about car-honking are down 70%
- The Holland Tunnel has 65% fewer delays at rush hour; time to get thru it is down 48%
- 6 million fewer cars
- Half as many traffic-related injuries
- 1.5 million more visitors to BIDs year over year
How Well Is Congestion Pricing Doing? Very.
One hundred days in, honking is down; bus speeds are up.

Better for the climate, better for health, better for livability & quality of life.

Such an obvious no-brainer, it’s remarkable that so many cities HAVEN’T done the same.
Paris said au revoir to cars. Air pollution maps reveal a dramatic change.
