I was catching up on some reading on why the U.S. government shutdown is happening and realized that a similar conflict in Canada over the budget would lead to the government falling and an election being called.

Let me tell you about the time I was held by US Customs and had my passport seized because my presentation and the way I packed did not match my ID. And this was during the "friendly" time of Obama. It'll be much worse now
