It is remarkable how long it takes to build trust and how fast it can be torn to pieces
Sad to say, but information on the CDC website can no longer be trusted. The anti vaccine and anti science agenda has taken over

CDC has overhauled its website to assert that “the claim ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ is not an evidence-based claim”

The anti-vax movement's wildest claim yet: Polio wasn't so bad
Add this to vaccines make you magnetic, cause AIDS, and measles is not a big deal.

Today on Volts: for years, I've wanted to do a podcast on indoor air quality, and I finally found the perfect guest! Dr. Lagoudas & I discuss indoor air pollutants, the policies and technologies that can control them, and the growing need to frame indoor air quality as a basic human right.
What's the deal with indoor air quality?
From CO2 monitors to better building codes, Dr. Georgia Lagoudas outlines how to clean up the spaces where we spend 90% of our lives.

I work downtown, and until this week a young man was spending most nights sleeping on the steps of my office building. One of my coworkers makes a point to get to work early every day to make sure he's the one to wake up this young man and make sure he gets on his way safely for the day.

Against all odds (used car prices are scary), I was able to break even with my MPI total loss payout and bought a 2009 Mazda3 last night with 155,000 kms 🎉

Cop talk is so ridiculous.

“✨An encounter occurred✨ and an officer discharged their firearm.”

Is the language RCMP is using to describe how they ended up fatally shooting a First Nations man this morning.

I hope people realize some disabled people are forced to live in places where we have no to little control over possessions

How that influences who has the privilege to use infection mitigations, be in communities, go to school/work

How being public about it is a privilege too

If you still wear a mask at all, even just when sick or at the hospital or on public transit, THANK YOU!
If you still try to isolate or protect others when you are sick, THANK YOU.
If you still test for COVID when you have any symptoms, THANK YOU.

Thats right.

Zero.

According to the dark site apparently there were more than 100.

So me calling it a detox prison really wasn’t hyperbole huh
A new 20-suite detox centre in South Point Douglas, where people high on long-lasting drugs can be held for up to 72 hours, will open for alcohol-related detentions by the end of the November.

We desperately need a real progressive option. Enough with the compromising on core values.
BREAKING: Green Party Leader Elizabeth has confirmed that, due to the assurances she received from the prime minister regarding Canada's climate targets during QP today, she WILL support the budget.

The Liberals only need one more "yes" vote to avoid an election.

“When I am in public spaces and see most people unmasked either because they think the virus is a hoax, that masking is virtue signaling & a sign of weakness, aren't thinking about it, or that they simply don’t care, I feel like an expendable burden not worth saving.”

So 💔 & angry… that Alice is gone, Teen Vogue is gone, community care is all but gone, but dangerous infectious diseases are still being given red carpet treatment. The disability, Long Covid, & ME communities keep losing people, & it doesn’t have to be this way. We can do better. We must.
