I encourage everyone to read the indictment. Read it. People will lie about what it says and you should know what it says.

It’s a great talk. Even if the moderator was a little bit anxious and spoke too fast. 🤦‍♀️
Here’s video of my Sept. 10 Supreme Court Historical Society online lecture, “Away Without Leave but Back in Washington, Briefly: Nazi Prosecutor Justice Robert H. Jackson on the Road to Nuremberg, September 1945,” with photos and Q&A.
Thanks, SCHS, & happy viewing.

A customer told me she couldn't believe this store would put up a Pride display, because what if children see it??

Anyway, it was my display, and I'm proud of it, and you (and your children) should all see it. #BookSky 📚💙

Brad is an incredible public servant and this is absolutely horrifying
Hi, this is Meg Barnette, Brad's wife.

While escorting a defendant out of immigration court at 26 Federal Plaza, Brad was taken by masked agents and detained by ICE.

This is still developing, and our team is monitoring the situation closely.

Carter Phillips's appearance at a Supreme Court Historical Society event today made me think of this, the indisputably funniest Supreme Court story of all time (and an extremely well told one).

I am so glad @katmacfarlane.bsky.social and I had our NYC adventure to see Billy Joel when we did.

I hope he recovers quickly and is on the road again soon.

Nothing is ever a given. Go to the concert. See the play. Call your friend.

Life is all curveballs.

This is HUGE.

For those wondering why due process is essential for EVERYONE. This is why!
Cato has published my comprehensive review of the ~240 Venezuelans the US government renditioned 2 months ago to Salvador’s notorious prison. We identified FIFTY who came legally, never violated any immigration law, but are imprisoned at the US government’s request and at US taxpayer expense.

The GOP wanted to impeach Biden for a fake $5M bribe from Ukraine that was made up by a guy sitting in prison for lying about it, but they’re cool with a $400M plane from Qatar. Do I have that right?

Unbelievable. This lawyer lost his job because he provided a minimum of legal advice to an immigrant family. I cannot fully convey my outrage and disgust at his employer.

It’s a test to see if you know the name of your college/university’s president.

😂

Very important and worth the extra time to seek out your institution.

Must-read article from @radleybalko.bsky.social about a truly decent lawyer just trying to help folks in his community through pro bono—and the feds who showed up at his home to intimidate him for doing so.

Ht to @clayjak.substack.com. You are a good egg.
