Tel, Bergvall, Odobert, Moore, Vuskovic, Kinsky. That’s a lot of young talent for a manager who is very good at developing young players to work with. Could be very exciting

Ange Postecoglu leaves a bigger legacy at this great football club after just two years, than Daniel Levy and ENIC ever will

A short thread🧵:
I've emailed @tottenhamhotspur.com a few times about Ange and never had a reply, so thought I'd share my argument here so at least someone may read it /1

Thomas Frank is a mid table manager. If he’s the one, at least the club are finally being clear on their ambitions.

Having meditated on matters I continue to think sacking Ange is unconscionable, and the silence is because there's nothing to announce. New CEO and comms master VV is starting next week, will take the reins swiftly, and give us a tasty update we'll all love and the good vibes will return.

24 hours later I've finally got some time to sit down so I've been scrolling through all the content there is, and I will be soaking it up for days to come. Last night was incredible, up the Spurs 💙💙

Come. On. You Spurs.

Genuinely no words for this season. Whatever way you look at it, overall we've just had the most horrendous luck - Bergvall, Maddison and Deki's injuries all innocous or impact.

I guess Ange will be using it to motivate the players though. God knows we all really deserve a huge reward in the end.

Actually, the best case scenario is that Postecoglou ends the wait for the trophy, and then stays, and then delivers more trophies.
Tottenham should not base their decision on whether to keep Ange Postecoglou on the outcome of the Europa League final. They can’t be emotional. Best case scenario could still be for Postecoglou to end the wait for a trophy and leave on a high #thfc

Ange Postecoglou leaving on a high could be Spurs’ best-case scenario
Tottenham’s riches have underpinned Europa League progress but, win or lose in Bilbao, they need to be decisive about their manager to succeed at home

My sentiments exactly. Enjoy every moment leading up to the final. Lap up the content, soak up the positive energy. Let no one tell you how to feel. This is the third Euro final in my lifetime, i am going to love every second of it. COYS
I love this feeling between the semi-final and a final. Don't mind me, I'll just be floating on air for the next fortnight

Their goal was a big deflator for sure, but overall it was a great performance and great cushion. All we heard about was how much we were going to struggle in Frankfurt but look how that turned out? We can do it again, up the Spurs.

Oh, and that game against West Ham is a complete write off lol

On to Thursday.

I can accept losing, and ultimately the result doesn't matter but Spurs really don't need to make things so difficult and painful for fans. We give away so many cheap goals, teams dont even have to try against us. Exhausting to watch (again, lol), no matter the circumstances.

Ah well, onto Thursday

Am I the only one who doesn’t really see enough parallels to call this a “potential Ten Hag situation“? Seems like fairly lazy shorthand for pretty different situations, for me. Lot of PL watchers can only explain things based on past happenings and not for things as they are. (To me! To me!)

Total commitment. Intelligent disciplined front foot defending. Romero obdurate. Bergvall outstanding. Back four a unit. Udogie excellent. Aggressive - wound them up from the start! Where did that come from? Actually who cares - enjoy the moment

Not having this narrative that Frankfurt aren't up to much. Third in Bundesliga, winning experience and nous, unbeaten at home in the Yurop this season. They didn't play well because they weren't allowed to. Spurs individually, collectively, tactically on it. Right subs right time. Deserved.
