My family have been Spurs since the beginning, when our colours were navy blue, and we played on Tottenham marshes.

In just over 1000 minutes Richarlison has 10 goal involvements in the Premier League and 1 goal in the Champions League. If he'd not have been marginally offside against Palace, he'd now be 2nd most prolific goal contributor in the league. Really happy for him. 🐦 #COYS

Tottenham, Brighton, and now Manchester United are the only three sides this season Wolves have claimed a point from.

Really interesting hearing this surprisingly open and candid view of Frank from a Brentford fan

Key points:

–Poor subs + no "Plan B"

–Tactical rigidity

–Interviews praising players after poor performances caused fan friction

–He *did* coach attacking football Brentford

We got our money’s worth out of Brennan Johnson, he’ll leave the club a fondly remembered hero, but he is the sort of player we need to upgrade if we want to catch up to the top teams

“Spurs ended the year on a high with the win at Crystal Palace on Sunday thanks to Archie Gray's first half header.”

On a high? Ali clearly not spending enough time on Bluesky – it's unrelenting misery here 🥳
Here's every word Thomas Frank just said on Brennan Johnson and that accepted transfer bid, new signings, young Irish striker Mason Melia's arrival, Lucas Bergvall's injury, Solanke, Kulusevski, Romero's FA charge, Radu Dragusin's future and plenty more. www.football.london/tottenham-ho...

A highlight this season so far has been the emergence of Gray in his preferred position. He filled in valiantly at defence last season but seeing him in midfield, you realise why he’s so highly rated. He constantly wins second balls, can play a sweet pass, almost always moves forwards with the ball

Say what you like about Thomas Frank’s freewheeling Tottenham Hotspur, they have the best away record in the Premier League.

My piece from Selhurst Park

Tottenham’s away form is invaluable, but more is needed to convince fans
For all the sluggishness, there are at least some areas where Frank’s Spurs are making clear measurable progress.

There's a weird subset of fandom whereby in a year of struggle people would almost rather lose and be Proven Right Online™ than win ugly.

I know this sounds like I'm making up a guy to be mad at, but I've seen it! It's real!

Little stats update. We continue to rely on opponents missing a well above average percentage of big chances (76% to our 58% conversion rate). We've created more big chances (57) than our opponents (50), though 14 (!) of our BC created came from just Copenhagen (8) and Salvia Prague (6). ...

All that progressive passing and just two big chances. It's not much use if a side does very little with those passes.

Tottenham are expected to push up the ceiling on their wage structure in order to compete after years of having to rule out targets who wanted more than they could offer.
