I can't be the first person to think Thomas Frank reminds me of Ted Lasso?
A nice guy, but knows nothing about making my team win football matches

Alex Pretti was an American hero. He saved lives. He protected people. He cared deeply about his community, unlike the murderous thugs who killed him.

The very last thing he did was try to help a woman who had been pepper-sprayed and violently shoved to the ground by ICE. 1/

I'd give the interim Spurs job to Arry and have Mason back as assistant.
I remember the lift Redknapp gave us after Juande, which is what we need now. And Mason knows the squad and can slot straight back in.
Then get Poch back after the World Cup - relive all the greatest hits!

I actually feel sorry for Thomas Frank now. And pitying your manager isn't a good place to be for a football fan. Doesn't feel like a way back.
He's clearly well respected and liked by people in the game, but I just dont think he was ever a good fit.
That's the recruiters' fault - Lange?

Is a draw vs Burnley enough? NO!
At least it shouldn't be.
1 point from three games vs clubs on terrible runs of form is horrific.
If the football was good, it might be different - but the football isn't good.
And our Feb fixtures are scary and could put us in a relegation battle!

No manager of Spurs should survive this run of form. Even if the performances were good, but they're not! If Pep was our manager and we were playing great but getting beat, there would be questions.
Now we need answers!
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO SAVE OUR CLUB @tottenhamhotspur.com?

Losing to two teams at the bottom end of the table on horrendous losing streaks should get a manager sacked. Losing to three such teams will be.
And the interim manager will have to face the horrific February games.
Great work Spurs

Spurs being strongly linked with 31 year old Andy Robertson, who is a free agent in the summer. Huh?
Yes he's won a lot, but we've just signed Souza and have Udogie and Davies as LBs.
I think Davies may leave in summer, but our squad management is bizarre

He also said Brexit would be great, Trump would be good for us, he’d help the people of Clacton, the Tory party are awful (then took in all their worst people), broke parliamentary rules & allowed a traitor to run the Welsh Reform party, so let’s stop listening to what this prick says eh

This annoyed me from BBC.
How were Spurs' injuries last season down to Ange's 'high octane' style, whereas Frank isn't at fault for injuries now?
Ange kept to his principles and played high octane in spite of the injuries and won us a trophy!
Frank has us a pragmatic 14th

Curtis Jones got 15 minutes off the bench tonight and is behind others in Liverpool's squad.
With Bergvall injured and Jones presumably wanting more game time to try and secure a spot in the World Cup squad, a move for him could make sense - playing alongside Gallagher may help both of them
January 21, 2026 at 10:54 PM
Spurs had already had the joint most injuries in 25-26. Bergvall makes 20, and it's a laughable.
Spurs hierarchy had better bring in top reinforcements ASAP or relegation battle is how our season ends.
Shame we've not developed any of academy talents to be ready to step in and play 😒

I loved Ted Lasso the show.
He was a great character and thoroughly decent man.
He was a woeful football manager - did not have a clue. I wouldn't have wanted him as manager of my football club.
That's where I am with Thomas Frank

How horrific must the #EpsteinFiles be when Trump needs to threaten to go to war with America's allies to distract from them?
Trump has always been entitled and narcissistic, but he's now acting totally deranged.
Rational US politicians on both sides need to step up and impeach

I can't see Frank coming back from losing consecutively to teams on wretched runs of form. We are lurching towards a relegation battle on this form.
Decisive change is needed and this is Vinai's first big test.
I'd get an interim coach in place and line Poch up to return after the World Cup
January 18, 2026 at 1:06 AM
Glasner won the Europa League with Frankfurt and FA Cup and Community Shield with Palace, and then his best players were sold from under his nose.
At the very least he deserves a Club who back him in the transfer market, and the Lewis family could do that.
He's a manager to back

If it had ended a draw I'd have expected Frank to be sacked anyway.
Losing to this West Ham team at home is unforgivable

If Spurs lose vs this abject West Ham team, we won't be far off a relegation battle.
Frank needs to inspire a fantastic second half performance and comeback win to keep his job

I'm pleased Tel and Odobert start again. Those two and Xavi have the potential to develop into a formidable force if they play together regularly.
Hoping Gallagher and Gray dominate the midfield and get us forward, and I'd love RKM to have his scoring boots on!

First time I've ever agreed with Paul Merson!
Frank has got a lot of hard work to do to win fans' belief.
Hopefully Spurs start building that relationship today

Heard rumours about Spurs being offered Karim Adeyemi.
From his profile and highlights, looks like he'd be a good fit. Quick, good 1v1, controls ball and takes intelligent shot or passes at the right time.
Decent across the front positions so would still play when Kudus returns
