I hope Simons comes back to Spurs with his shooting boots on.
Took up good position for his chance and then finished well - obviously against weaker defence than he'll face against the Goons this weekend.

I hope your illness eases and you feel up to writing/directing again soon.
It must be really hard and I hope you have some outlets for your creativity that give you joy. Sometimes starting small can be some help - short stories, poems, paintings, etc.

This feels like a metaphor for the modern world. So many people today get furious about the smallest things (eg boat crossings) that they're prepared to destroy their house (eg Brexit) to stop them
