Yeah, I think that just because one may have favoured Ange to stay, doesn't mean they were necessarily against Frank. Can see the merit in either path, just more so on one side. But now that Ange has gone and if Frank comes in, over time we will all get behind him.

I think judging him based on what he hasn't achieved was fair given the fact we had Ange, a proven winner. Moving from him to Frank is seen as a big gamble we don't need to take. Now though, I'll get behind Frank, what else can I do realistically? I think a lot of fans will be in this same boat.

It really does remain to be seen how this will effect our pull and recruitment, so many of the players we signed the last few years came because of Ange

Yep I agree and think most people like Frank too. It's just the optics and timing - if we hadn't won the EL and wanted someone to stabilise us, then yeah, excellent appt. But now I just see it as pointless, and there are far more reasons to keep Ange. I don't think Frank raises our ceiling over Ange

The night we won the EL my dad said to me "sure we could be 2nd and it wouldn't make any difference now" and I completely agreed. Sure, there's flaws in and more to it than that, but I see this season as a one off, the ends justified the means, and I couldn't care less about the PL.

I listened to it out of curiosity. As expected, I thought Marcus' approach to his views was a bit of a mess, and sometimes you'd swear he was trolling. But hey ho, he's entitled to his opinion.
