I say this a lot, but it's riding my bike that made me not see Baltimore as a scary place anymore.

Wild to see how tomato seedlings can be transplanted at scale, yet more important to support these workers. We could be making their lives easier, yet instead, we are focusing on greedy tax cuts for billionaires, idiotic tariffs and market manipulation, and deporting people without due process. 😡
Hermelinda's transplanting tomato seedlings. She earns just over CA min. wage. It's seasonal work & she doesn't live nearby. Gas for 100+ mi round trip is expensive. It's the only option in the slow season as her family depends on her wages. #WeFeedYou

Tonight to wind down after a deadline, I took my guitar out on the porch to play quietly. As I practiced a new Julien Baker song, an owl swooped overhead and landed in a tree next door. It listened for a minute before joining, singing with loud hoots and cries before flying off. Nature is amazing.
