First, Israel cut Gaza’s last internet cable—blacking out 2.3 million people.

Then it bombed Iran with no UN approval, no imminent threat.

As eyes shift to Iran, Israel will escalate its ethnic cleansing in Gaza—and create more regional instability.

UPDATE: It happened. In an 11:15 meeting, employees were told that the office has been eliminated and their positions will be terminated.
SCOOP: sources tell me that the State Dept plans to eliminate its only office to counter foreign disinformation, as soon as today, delivering a win to foreign governments like Russia, Iran, and China—and the office's mostly conservative critics.

SCOOP: The Trump admin appears to be going into a visa database to quietly change students' immigration status. It's coming entirely by surprise — setting students up to be detained without warning.

It's Mahmoud Khalil & Rumeysa Ozturk — on a wider scale.

I confess to total impatience with the handwringing over the future of the Democratic Party. It's obviously irrelevant: what is happening in the United States now means we need an entirely new politics. Neither justice nor democracy will be possible until the decks have been cleared.

Look: The thing you need to understand about genAI is that every Next Big SV Thing of the last 15 years—NFTs, Web3, Metaverse, VR—has been utterly rejected by the market and the tech grifters know this is their last chance, no more. That’s why there is an apocalyptic level of capital invested in it.
