Sometimes in classes I've taught on roadmapping futures, I ask students to imagine the mundane bureaucratic events that lead up to a ridiculous sci-fi ending. Somebody built the procurement department for that space elevator and trained the staff. I was too conservative.

Tinkering with Cowork and the first thing it reminds me of is project management apps. If I wanted several extra steps in everything I do, I'd add them myself. Why learn yet another workflow? And explain it to 5 other people?
