On May 3rd, 1999, my dad, Dick Frank Dart, died of a self inflicted gunshot wound. He was 43. He left behind 3 sons and a daughter, his wife, mother, sisters and many more. I was 14 at the time.
I still miss him to this day

Good news from the Supreme Court? I'm shocked, honestly. But good.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court DENIES former county clerk Kim Davis's request for the justices to take up her longshot bid to overturn 2015's Obergefell v. Hodges marriage equality decision. No justice even writes about the request.

To put this in scale, Elon Musk's salary from Tesla alone could fund the SNAP program for the entire country into 2034.

"I wish my representative would act more like Marjorie Taylor Greene"

A sentence that is true at the moment, but I cannot believe I ever typed out
Marjorie Taylor Greene on the Epstein files: "I think it also played a part in Tuesday's election of why people are just mad and they don't want to go vote. It's not going away anytime soon."

Try to imagine, for a second, what the daycare aged children are seeing & experiencing in this building. They do not understand what is happening, they are just watching one of their teachers physically hauled out by masked men while she screams for help. Daycare kids. My son went from 6 mo-5yrs

Utah being in the top right quadrant of this graph is a feeling I've never known before. It's beautiful.
How are offenses doing in creating quality drives and finishing those quality drives?

This was the moment from the DNC chair I was hoping to find. This message is what the Democrats needs to be screaming from the roof tops for the next 12 months.
The Democratic Party is back.

We won up and down the ballot last night because our candidate promised something Trump couldn’t: actual solutions.

Scott Jennings just said out loud on CNN that hes not worried about 2026 because Republicans will come out on top of redistricting & when the Supreme Court tosses out section 2 of the voting rights act. Just said it matter of factly, thats how they'll win. Wish I had @atrupar.com 's skill to find it

@atrupar.com any chance you've got clips of Ken Martin on CNN just now? He gave the correct democratic message and did it well

Tonight was a clear win at the poll. The people have spoken. And it's clear that the Big12 is seen far more favorably than the ACC. A landslide tonight

Nothing Utah can do this weekend to help their case. Just hope you don't slide next week teams in front of you will lose. Well that bump Utah? Keep them in the same place? Slide them down?
Bye Week is great to get healthy. It is also going to be very interesting for next week's ranking

Great night for the Big12. If they continue this respect, the Big12 should be a multiple bid league
This is a major win for the Big 12 so far ... though it's just the initial rankings

With the win Saturday, Utah got back on the CFB imperialism map, in a big way. Cincinnati had a ton of area, that all now belongs to Utah. Including the country of Ireland #GoUtes!

Rules: FBS teams divide USA by closest county. Beating a team takes its territory & keeps it all until a loss (all goes to the winner), but teams can get back on the map by defeating others with land!

Even with 2 losses, Utah has the 3rd best opp-adj scoring differential in the country
(point below a team's average you hold them to + points above their average points allowed you score)
I still hold the controversial opinion this Utah team is really good

The chart at the bottom of this article about Utah's possible path to the Big12 title game in Dallas has been updated, crossing out all the "did Houston win out" options
As I study, the key is to only have 1 team with 1 or 0 conference losses (currently there are 3, Tx Tech, byu, and Cinci) 1/3
Utah has a 2-3 record at home when ESPN “College GameDay” is in SLC (and 2-6 all-time with the show). But more important than that record, Utah is looking to break through in a tough game.

Also, I made a little flow chart for Utah’s path to title game.

Are dropboxes considered "in possession of county clerks," or will the dropboxes further out be closing before 8? (example: there is a dropbox in Saratoga Springs, but the county clerk's office is in Provo.) Do you know @benwinslow.bsky.social
GO VOTE! @voteslco.bsky.social tells me as of this morning, voter turnout in Salt Lake Co. (Utah's most populous county) is 18.5%. New law says ballots MUST BE IN THE POSSESSION OF COUNTY CLERKS when polls close on Election Day. Too late to mail, use dropbox or vote in person. #utpol #Utah

I've been to college football games in 36 different stadiums. Utah is the only one to allow flag poles. I love how much fans have embraced it and made it one of our best traditions (nothing beats the moment of loudness.) So may flags last night. Well done. #GoUtes #FamilyOn3
