I will say if you want an easy way to get your feet wet on Mastodon. The Vivaldi Browser has its own Vivaldi Social instance that's easy to sign up for and doesn't seem like it's something that will puff up in smoke one day.

I will say if you want an easy way to get your feet wet on Mastodon. The Vivaldi Browser has its own Vivaldi Social instance that's easy to sign up for and doesn't seem like it's something that will puff up in smoke one day.

I keep telling people, *mastodon* is the only viable LONG TERM model. Yes, it kinda sucks at bringing EVERYONE in, but the way all the others, including bluesky, centralize stuff always ends up being the weak point
