45 people at church this Sunday. I won't be looking a gift horse in the mouth but I've got absolutely no idea why when it wasn't a remembrance service or anything...

Numbers were up last week too. Interesting to see if the trend keeps up and the new faces decide to hang around.

Absolutely devastating for my blood sugar levels that when I simply cannot persuade myself to write something ove been procrastinating the only thing that works is to buy a big bag of haribo and eat it at my desk as I type, getting more and more antsy and typing faster and faster as the sugar hits.

If you’re wondering what a “least weasel” is, they absolutely live up to the name. This is the least amount of animal you can have that can still meet the bar for “is weasel”

My friend is nonbinary and had to get a breast reduction because their GP was worried about their spine, and now they have to get a hysterectomy because they've got endometriosis, and I can't believe a person can be so biologically transgender that the NHS accidentally insists on transitioning them.

Hitting up a trans woman to explain to me how I build a personal media server because I got the annoying artist in plaid shirts flavour of transgender, not the computer genius in knee-high socks flavour of transgender.

Hundreds gathered for Mass on Nov 1 outside the Broadview ICE facility in solidarity with those detained. As it took place, buses left carrying people likely to the airport. Clergy with CSPL followed all protocols to bring communion inside but were denied entry.

A living church. A thriving church. A church with no functional noticeboard but a lot of space on the railings.

My friend and I have started a thing where we get up early on Friday mornings and go to the gym. Anyway, somehow it's now exactly 10am and I've read three chapters of a book, been to the gym, showered, done a load of laundry, had breakfast, and am now making a post-gym brunch wrap

Incredible scenes

This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.

Brianna keeps getting written about, even if not especially her own mother, like she tragically killed herself rather than was murdered in a transphobic hate crime
Most of us have pathologically useless parents who don't care to learn about protecting us properly, but this dogshit really takes the cake.

How important is lighting to photographing a gravestone?

Here is the same stone at 11:55 am and 12:28 pm on the same day. Raking sunlight picks out every detail in the carving (and even the texture of the stone).

Me, walking into St Nicks: "anyone wanna hear a fun fact?"

Everyone in the building: "is it? Actually fun? Tho?"

Me: Absolutely!"

Me: "the architect of our north aisle died in 1885 when he tried to get off a train before it had fully stopped, and he fell between the carriages and got decapitated"

“They must allow ministers to assist with their needs. They've been separated from their families and no one knows what happens.”
