Leavitt: "I'm not going to detail conversations that took place in the situation room."

Minutewomen keep it going with a home win over Harvard and improve to 3-0 on the young season.
Things looked a little bleak at the half as UM was only shooting 25% from the floor, and trailing 29-22, but we found our form in H2.

A decade ago, solar power barely registered in Hungary’s electricity mix — just 0.2% of generation. Back then, nuclear, coal, and gas dominated the grid.

Fast forward ten years and solar power now supplies around 1/4 of Hungary’s electricity — a remarkable transformation.

uncap the house.
We elect 537 people—Congress plus the White House. That’s not even enough to fill the bleachers at a small-town JV game. Yet those 537 hold hundreds of millions of us hostage with ideas like “trickle-down.” The power to change this is in our hands.

New — While some states have received SNAP benefits for November and USDA is supposedly pushing through all federal payments soon, that doesn’t erase the psychological terror of the last few weeks.

I spoke with 20+ SNAP recipients in 16 states about preparing for a possible future with no food:
The voices of SNAP
Recipients have become political pawns. They explained, in their own words, what Trump withholding funds has been like.

So to cap their horrible week, Senate Republicans refused a deal to reopen the government in exchange for just helping people with health insurance and now the president wants the Supreme Court to say he doesn’t have to obey the law and feed the hungry.

Amazing.

I'm so pissed they killed IRS free file.

When we take the government back he should break up turbo tax with a baseball bat.

Make it so that no one ever wants to use private tax software for their personal returns again.
