Praha zakázala stavět byty, lidé musí hledat v zázemí. Tam ale taky nejde stavět byty, ani vybavenost, jen RD. Každá věc tak vyžaduje cestu, praktickou jen autem. Cennou plochu města, například pro byty zabírá levné parkování. Stát slíbí okruh, který přivede víc aut z míst, kde se smí stavět jen RD.

Confusing stats language:

The "linear" is linear regression means "linear in the parameters".

It does not mean "can only fit straight lines", and things like polynomials and splines can be included in linear models.

The word "linear" in "multiple linear regression" refers to the fact that the model is linear in the parameters, . This simply means that each parameter multiplies an x-variable, while the regression function is a sum of these "parameter times x-variable" terms. Each x-variable can be a predictor variable or a transformation of predictor variables (such as the square of a predictor variable or two predictor variables multiplied together). Allowing non-linear transformation of predictor variables like this enables the multiple linear regression model to represent non-linear relationships between the response variable and the predictor variables. We'll explore predictor transformations further in Lesson 9. Tramvaje aktuálně v centru 15 - 20 min zpoždění. Policie nikde nic. Dopravu na několika křižovatkách řídí dispečeři DP, jinak bychom nikam nedojeli. Jako je tohle normální? Pár jednotlivců v autech blokuje desítky tisíc lidí v tramvajích a dopravu musí řídit soukromý subjekt bez pravomocí 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻.

eLife Assessment This important study reports the results of efforts to replicate two phenomena of significant interest to early-career scientists and scientific policymakers: the Matthew effect and the early-career setback effect. Several previous studies of these effects have focused on early-career researchers with grant proposals that fell just below or just above a funding threshold. Those just above the threshold were more likely to be successful when they applied for funding later in the career (an example of the well-known Matthew effect), while those just below were more likely to go on to have stronger publication records (the early-career setback effect). In this study the Matthew effect was found to be robust across funders, and to generalize from those close to the funding threshold to the whole population. The early-career setback effect was not robust across funders and did not generalize to the whole population. The evidence reported is convincing.
