A Manhattan federal judge on Thursday ordered the Trump administration to restore nearly $34 million in antiterrorism and security funding for the New York City subway and regional railroads that he said had been withheld illegally.
Judge Orders FEMA to Release $34 Million for New York Subway Security
The administration has refused to release the money because New York is a so-called sanctuary city. It was “a blatant violation of the law,” the judge wrote.

I am always confused about why GOP extremists still say they are conservative, when their party is spendthrift and neglectful, while we speak daily about conserving treasure, resources, health and the environment.
