My son had an ophthalmology eval today. He’s legally blind with a long history of eye issues including retinopathy of prematurity, and bilateral cataract removal at only 13.
He now needs lens implants to save his vision.
Our worst fear though?
Not having insurance for surgery.

She said she was told, “ICE is avoiding the gang areas for their own safety.”
