This is super bad for US citizens, especially on the left of the spectrum. Gives this authoritarian administration potentially the power to surveil & go after US citizens on spurious "funding of FTO" grounds. This whole antifa boogeyman is being fully weaponized. So dangerous.
My NSPM-7 coverage has for weeks been met with smug assurances that there's no law for domestic terrorism. Well, the Trump admin just designated Antifa groups as Foreign Terror Orgs - for which there is a law:

Move cites NSPM-7, saying four European Antifa groups espoused "anti-Christianity," "anti-capitalism," and "anti-Americanism"

I think there are a number of people employed at the New York Times -- certainly not all of them, but many! -- who simply do not grasp how badly the paper's credibility has been shaken over the past few years, along several different axes, and for multiple different reasons

This is VERY true and this is my #1 favorite receipt of it, and why I think maybe these people want Dems to lose. They have a tendency to drop these reports DURING GOTV. Third Way had one drop THE DAY BEFORE E-DAY in 2022, and it earned them a Fox News chyron.

The press is not covering the story of rising authoritarianism. They just aren’t
today's unprecedented foreign terror designation of Antifa has resulted in exactly zero (0) cable news segments 👍

It’s easy to clown on this jackass, but this is the kind of demagoguery that is a precursor to humanity’s greatest crimes.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

If only our society took major crimes by rich people as seriously as minor crimes by poor people. Ideally more seriously. But as seriously would be a big improvement.

Remove all judgments about Israel and understand how insane this is.

Dude is essentially threatening to leave the party because of a foreign country.

Lunatics like Fetterman legit care more about Israel than the United States.

The NYT insists on marginalizing as “far left” anyone with remotely social-democratic politics

It’s the clearest reflection of their reactionary centrist politics

I’m actually fine with newspapers having political stances, and NYT does much good work. It’s just not “neutral”
