DiVine is made by RabbleLabs, on their site you will find a widget called "And Other Things" that takes you to another domain and explains a lot of stuff about their/Nostr's Ai.
Most likely they just want a free dataset of tons of actual videos to train on.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

I feel it's a dangerous precedent to let a game retain eligibility for an AWARD when they knowingly used gen AI in their game. These awards are meant to celebrate creativity and expression, as well as technical achievement, are they not?

On the other hand, I cannot do my job effectively if a writer isn't there to explain their reasoning for the lines and where it came from to a director, who then translates that into vocal technique to the actor. This is a very collaborative process that requires human interaction and intention.
If your game has voice acting, then working with the voice actors is half of your writing process. It's not complete until you've heard it interpreted and reimagined by a voice actor. And they always reimagine it in ways that elevate the writing, in ways you never would have imagined yourself.

As I've continued to be swallowed by grief and general depression this past year, I've been leaning more into Halo to help cope. It was something my family and I played together a lot, created many of the scarce few genuinely good memories I have of us all together.
