There's no shortage of artists here on The World Wide Web™, broadcasting what they do, and many of whom are underselling their craft, especially in these times.

Find them, give them money, let them put this on their resume/cv, and they will get you the placeholders of your dreams, man.

Another point I'll add: Whenever I see gen AI in a game/project, even if used as a "placeholder", it makes me DEEPLY suspicious of wherever else it may have infected the work.

And to use AI, like there aren't terabytes worth of images you could pull from. Hell, I've unfollowed a few fan artists who smelled a bit fascy, I bet you could've found one to pay.

Also, using AI to put a draft-dodger in Mjolnir armor (and Master Chief's no less) is an irony not lost on me.

systemically abusing people and tearing families apart... sucks. Especially seeing it be used in an official (more-or-less) capacity, and with seemingly *NO* repercussions.
