Plans for another mega sized factory farm for pigs and chickens -  look set to be turned down, as the would be animal abuser couldn’t show the project wouldn’t wreck local ecology or worsen the climate crisis.

This matters. We need to end factory farming not add to it.

Very concerning. Meeting in a place of worship to plan a peaceful protest is a great British tradition. I've done it many times and will do many more.

This shocking violation of a place of worship is a direct result of crackdowns on protest and dissent - freedom of speech, assembly and democracy are at risk.🕊️

I'm afraid a report by the CBI found the complete opposite - going slow in making the move to building EVs represents the biggest threat

This, it needs repeating aggressively and repeatedly. Gas drove up electricity prices in UK, not renewables or wretched Net Zero.
It wasn’t net zero — it was fossil gas that drove up UK electricity prices.

Spot on, @pilitaclark.bsky.social! Gas sets the price most of the time.

As @dharavyas.bsky.social Energy UK, says: "It’s the volatile cost of fossil fuels and our dependence on them that have driven up energy bills."

We allow the price of gas to set the price of green energy… It’s time to break the link.
